Breaking It Down

Style of Man: Breaking It Down

Blue Casual

The Style of Man: Breaking It Down posts will explore the looks that draw people in and dig into what makes them appealing.  I'll also be investigating how you can attain the style from the pictures.  If possible I'll point the way towards the exact items and/or a close match with different price points when the original is upper crust.

I'll also highlight the source and photographer/artist that captured the look and point you to their work.

If you've clicked through the never ending columns of photos that compose Pinterest and have any interest in men's fashion you've most likely seen the picture above.  It captures a ton of attention and is one of the most re-pinned photos on men's fashion pin boards.

Its origins are from the Street Style portion of Details Magazine. The article and accompanying images were written/taken by the talented Street Fashion photographer

This particular look hits the smart casual bullseye.  The dark blue contrasts perfectly against the dark khaki pants.  Rolled up sleeve with the leather bracelet keep the outfit from staying too dressy. You can almost feel how comfortable and soft the fabrics are by the way the light hits the creases and wrinkles.
This is weekend wear you'd be be OK being caught dead in.
